Acknowledgement

As you enter this space, I humbly offer and share acknowledgement of all my relations, human and non-human a like.

The foundations that support me are the blood and bones of my ancestral lineages, the descendants and ancestors of the lands I stand on; wherever I'm rooted, as well as the living wisdom teachings, traditions and medicines from various lineages that have been gifted to me.

The voices, sounds, words, visions, dreams, elements, movements, actions, structures, systems and beings that move through me and the spaces I am in relationship with, are the medicines that are being gifted to me always. With the awareness of the colonized, appropriated and fractaled journeys these wisdoms have travelled to arrive in and with me, I choose to re-member as I slowly and gently follow their threads back to their origins.

As I currently live on Unceded Coast Salish territory, also known as Victoria BC, Canada, I recognize and humbly ask for forgiveness for all the violence, denial, pain and suffering endured and caused by mine, my families and my ancestors participation in the colonial systems and the ongoing genocide of the First Nations peoples of these lands and Indigenous peoples all over the world, past present and future. My life and work today is due to the privileges I carry, as well as the oppression I'm unlearning as an immigrant queer mestiza latina woman of colour, as a guest on these lands and as a daughter of our mother earth.

I am a mother, partner, daughter, sister, sibling and family to all those who have, continue and will guide me, for better or worse, on my path of re-membering. I am committed and dedicated to supporting the liberation of not just my family but all my human and non human relations.

I would also like to acknowledge and offer my gratitude to the mentors, teachers, family, friends and peers on my journey who have helped me refine my practice and awareness of myself by sharing their words, hearts, presence and embodied wisdom when I needed them the most. My Life is dedicated to all the beings who have helped me come into deep relationship with the Divine Mother and Father on my medicine journey.
